The welcoming

We had to get up ridiculously early this morning to drive to Schiphol to fetch eldest son arriving there from Singapore. Nowadays when you go to Arrivals you have to be aware that there are often TV people lurking there to interview those waiting for arriving passengers searching for touching stories. So when we positioned ourselves next to an exit only to find us next to a bunch of rowdy people with a boombox and a mike , loudly  welcoming anybody exiting from the luggage area to The Netherlands/Amsterdam/home it did make us suspicious, but it soon became clear they were waiting for somebody specifically. They did cause many people to smile meanwhile and while I normally wouldn’t think of capturing strangers I reckoned they wouldn’t mind me taking their picture with the lucky arriving passenger.  For Silly Saturday with thanks to admirer for hosting this fun challenge every Saturday.
