Sheringham Brass Band

We got up early to start on our long list of jobs. I drove to Cromer to buy more food, in Iceland this time. The town was fairly empty at 9.30 although all the supermarket car parks looked heaving. Met Mollie who helped me carry stuff back to the car, then went home to start tidying and cleaning. Jon and Henry got back from the hairdressers about 10.30, so after a dog walk we all went in to Holt. I knew Heather's band were playing and i don't think you can beat Christmas songs played by a brass band to get you into the Christmas mood. They were very good.

After a mooch around the food bit of Bakers and Larners we had coffee in there. Then did the rounds of the charity shops looking for a specific game. No luck. Home to properly tidy. It is part done and the rest we will do tomorrow. Then some wrapping, but yet more to do. I hate it so can only do it in short bursts.

The boys have gone out to see Star Wars in Cromer, just as mum and dad pulled up outside. Glad they weren't any later as it is quite dark. They are tired and full of cold. Hopefully they can just chill out for a few days now.

Mollie and I are heading out to see Pitch Perfect 3 shortly. We think we are going to have the cinema to ourselves. It is on the small screen at Cromer cinema, which is approximately the size of a latest model tv!! We are due to finish at the same time.

Have had a bit of a bad head this afternoon, so hoping it eases before tomorrow as I have more baking to do.
