an extra Christmas decoration....

So today I was putting some gifts under my very small Christmas tree when something moved on the star...and it was this delightful mantis!  He moved really quickly - obviously was not too excited about having his picture taken!

My son from Malawi left this morning at 6am and is stuck at the border until tomorrow morning! Buses in Zambia do not drive at night which I am thankful for, given the large number of road accidents! I was expecting him to arrive this evening but its going to be tomorrow evening now!  As long as he gets here safely I will be happy!
