What Christmas means to me!

As you unwrap your presents
From gifts under the tree
Remember the reason for Christmas
Centres around the nativity
We get caught up inthe busyness
The preparations and the stress
And forget there would be nothing
Had Jesus not come to bless
His bed was a humble manger
There was no room in the inn
His mother gave birth in a stable
No royal palace for him
Yet he is the King of all Kings
The one who loves us so
With a love that's unconditional
A love that you can know
With life and all its challenges
We need to feel within
The warmth of Jesus perfect love
That takes away our sin
He died to give us forgiveness
For all the wrong we've done
Ask him to be Lord of your life
And make this Christmas a special one
He'll never ever leave you
He'll walk with you day by day
You may not be able to see him
But with you he will stay
He's totally dependable
He'll also be your friend
You can talk to him at anytime
And a listening ear he'll lend
He knows what lies ahead of you
He knows what's in the past
So trust him with your life today
For a love that will always last
You need no special words to pray
Just talk to Him and invite Him to be
Part of your life in all ways
And experience His perfect peace!
