Purple (Day 959)
Talisker was rather insistent about me getting up to take him out for a walk this morning. I suppose I should be thankful I had a bit of a lie in. Wandering up the hill I became aware that Talisker was heading towards me on a collision course. Six feet or so in front of Talisker was a large rabbit. The rabbit ran straight at me, then dodged past me at the last millisecond. I was in the way of 50kg of rapidly moving dog. Talisker screeched to a halt, barked at me in fury and took off after the rabbit again. He didn't catch it.
Back at home, after a bit of paperwork, I went out to the shed and continued with the carving 'til lunchtime and a wander with the woofers at Wasdale in the rain. The rest of the afternoon was spent carving. It is so close to being finished and is looking pretty good. I have also dreamed up an idea for a signature which will mark stones as mine without being too noticeable.
When my beautiful wife arrived home from work, we decided to head to town and the delights of the Harbour Fry for dinner. By the time we got home I still didn't have a blip, so resorted to a quick macro of one of the flowers.
