Dove of peace

Last day at work until 4th January - I'm soooo ready for a break and, hopefully, some R&R! Finished slightly earlier than usual, so there was time to fetch a couple of parcels from the post office, and to do some essential shopping before the local shops closed.

Good to be indoors this evening - the wind is howling outside (gusts of 50+mph according to the Met Office, but we're in the north, so no weather warning has been issued!). Put the marzipan on the cake, and finished off wrapping gifts. Cleaning the flat starts in earnest tomorrow...
