Finally

It feels like it has taken a long time to get to this relaxing stage, but I also keep forgetting that it's not Christmas Eve.  

Up and out early to collect meat from Crombie's.  got there at 10 to 8, to see a queue down the street, but it was all made better by the lady with the trolley of free sausage rolls to keep the queue happy. 

Then the supermarket, which we won't talk about, then lunch and then across town for a visit.  Then Christmas songs in Stockbridge. 

Then more shopping in  the evening, including a trip to the beer shop for some Christmassy beer.  This is the amazing North Sea stout from the Pilot Brewery. It has sea water , liquorice and lactose and it's delicious rich and smooth.  It's going very well with a sit down and some League of Gentlemen. 

No shops tomorrow, unless something has been forgotten.
