echos from the past

Shopping trip to Ford Kinnaird. Actually a nice bike ride along the Innocent Railway. Also figured out how to avoid the ASDA car park. We did find the bike park which is puny given the size of the place. But then the two of us doubled the number of bikes.

On the way we briefly stopped to check out some old brick work. Staring at the old maps looks like it was part of some warehouse. Also startled a deer (see extra).

In the afternoon we were invited for mulled wine and mince pies and things. It was great catching up and meeting new people and figuring out the random connections. I am sure the degree of separation in Edinburgh is about 2.
