Happiness

Happiness is:
A gorgeous crisp clear sunny day in Seattle on Dec 23!
A bit longer light each day now!
Being able to walk up the  (300)steps to Capital Hill (where this peekaboo view of the Olympic mountains to the West is) because after 3 weeks of cracked rib, I can.  Slowly.  (I thought it would be back to normal by now.. but NOT.   Everything takes longer…when older… darn it.)
Sending out the last Christmas card
Wrapping the last present
Making the last wee batch of cookies to give away…
Time for a wee “nap” with a Louise Penny novel…
A quiet evening at home (planing on the last of The Crown on TV..it’s really spendid!)
Looking forward to seeing family (and some chaos.....excited kids...and dog) on Christmas
And heading to the island on the day after!

Edit --added this view from my roof deck at 9 PM with the Christmas ships on Lake Union.... a bit blurry (but colorful) as there was ice on the deck and I didn't want to fuss with any tripod.
