Lounging
I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I'm awake, you know?
A busman’s holiday, back at the airport. Angus makes it back from Glasgow in good time, but without sleep, so it’s great that the nice VA lady let’s all four of us into their lounge. Where he promptly falls asleep.
The flight to Chambèry is fine, but once landed the pain begins. A massive queue awaits, at the end of which two border guards slowly check everybody’s passport. In all, it takes an extra two and a half hours until our bus finally pulls out.
There are other delays on the way, but we finally arrive at our apartment at midnight. There’s a hot meal waiting, which is, in fact, exactly what we need. The chalet is quite empty - only us and one other couple in a place that sleeps 12.
