Forest Shapes

It has been a wet and overcast day but Rula was going a bit stir crazy so Cathleen and I walked up through the forest above the house before lunch.

It has now been replanted so there are great contrasts in shapes to be seen from old stumps to new trees.   The view from the hill was less colourful , as my first extra photos shows.  My second illustrates the garb needed  to survive the penetrating damp - and the desire of Rula to get home as soon as she could !
