Christmas Eve- Bridge of Allan

 
 Main street- Bridge of Allan -had hoped to get a blip of last minute shoppers. Instead all the shops were closed before 4pm except those selling alcohol and people were coming out laden with bottles and boxes of booze.
 
This year we are determined to have a “quiet Christmas”- no travelling, no houseguests.
And most of the shopping has been done online, courtesy of Amazon.
 
Last night we went to a very smart “drinks do” (once it would have been called a cocktail party) hosted by a new neighbor for everyone in this road.
 
Tonight we have friends coming around for dinner, and M is doing the cooking.
