Christmas Eve visitors

Today started with a wild, blustery wind and a dramatic navy sky to the north. Soon the sky was grey and the rain started.

This afternoon Annette and her three came to see us. It was lovely to see them. I had an idea in my head about the group photo, but I didn't quite manage it. However, I think that I will make a series of photos of groups as they prepare for the more final one. The final one is often rather stiff (although not of course in this case - see extra). 

After they had gone, I found myself dozing happily in the chair. Tonight we will watch Christmas University Challenge and Maigret.
