festive eve

Christmas Eve is probably my favourite day of the year. It seems so magical, with excitement in the air and anticipation of what's to come. 

This afternoon we were back in Moniaive to celebrate LIFE!! with Kate  and the Cairn Chorus - tea, cake and of course some singing. Then up to Dunscore for the Christingle service (see Friday's blip). A lot of excited children here who will find it hard to get to sleep.

I've just spoken to Sarah who is about to start her night shift on the childrens' ward at St George's. I hope her patients can sleep peacefully tonight..
