Preparing for Christmas

I have never tried brining a turkey before. And it is also some time since I cooked a whole turkey - I normally get a turkey crown as there only 2 of us. So this is a great experiment. MrD decided he wanted a whole bird so what did I need to do...I put the turkey into the marinade - it will stay there until Christmas Day afternoon when it gets cooked. I hope this will give us a nice moist bird :-)
MrD’s rationale for this is that we have 3 extra feline mouthes to feed...hmmmm...
