Contrast

That is the title that came to mind when I looked at my photo of curving stairs, how much I like contrast.

And for contrast the wintry weather came in today as predicted. Fifty years ago today there was what they call the Columbus Day Storm in the NW, with winds that ran into the 120 and beyond miles per hours, stronger than those of Hurricane Katrina and going for a long siege. All that has arrived this year on this day is a bit of contrast to the 13 weeks of sun and clear skies.
