Auguries

After the Rain

While we were away the garden flourished, almost unrecogniseable on our return. Looking for a pink blip, I had settled on the blueberries, such sweet flowers, when I noticed the raindrops nestled on this strawberry blossom.

Tomorrow, I attack the rhubarb, which has bolted, and looks strong enough to take my daughter up into the land of the giants. The flowers (also tinged pink, and possibly blippable) will have to go!
