Christmas Day

Not often I’m moved to tears but was this morning

Went to the Solemn Eucharist of Christmas Day Service at York Minster - truly have no words no describe how moving the music and atmosphere were - tears came as the choir - some members being as young as seven - sang the descent to Oh Come All Ye Faithful - and Hark The Herald Angels Sing - which was the final processional Carol

Got to shake hands with The Archbishop Of York - Dr John Semtamu - after the service - blip of him taken whilst he was setting up his sermon notes in the pulpit prior to the service

Afternoon and evening spent with other family members including son M&C at daughter’s house in York - Santa didn’t forget to call last night - all in all an excellent way to spend Christmas Day
