Presents

Santa was way behind with things, and got to bed far too late.  BB came through to us around 7.10am – so not too early – but still too early for me.  By the time I made it downstairs, he had already opened the presents in his stocking.

As usual we had a quick turnaround to get ready and out to church.  BB was once again one of the nativity narrators.  It was nice to meet up briefly with friends before we came home for breakfast and more present opening.

TT was in charge of the bird today.  I was in charge of starter, dessert and few random bits and pieces – but the timing was all in TT’s hands.  We sat down for lunch early (by our normal standard), and had a very nice meal.  BB scoffed his.  We then retired to the sofa.

BB wanted to watch one of his new DVDs, so I left he boys to it and went for a wander in the rain (it has rained all day) in an effort to clear my stuffed up head – but it didn’t really work, I just got wet.

BB put on his new Harry Potter pyjamas, his new Harry potter cosy socks and snuggled under his new Harry Potter blanket and watched another film (not Harry Potter – though there is a theme here!).  He got lots of lovely presents and has been a lucky lad - we have all been very fortunate.
