Peaked too soon
Merry Christmas everyone! The first thing we unwrapped was a bale of silage. We both fed on our farm they headed to the farm where we manage the livestock and I walked the dogs on the beach there and husband fed.
Then home and Christmas could begin. The dogs had some toys to unwrap and play with and some treats to eat. 3 new drying rugs for the working dogs, we bought 2 freckles drying rugs in the summer at the game fair and they are brilliant so we now have one each for the working dogs and Dris got an Equafleece onesy that he loves. Husband and I had a few gifts. Two of which were particularly thoughtful and well remembered by my parents. Firstly was my dad had made himself a wee wooden box with door that his camping gas stove sat on. I saw it in the summer and exclaimed how brilliant it was. (We have same camp stove) he must have remembered and made me one apparently with improvements from his own. And my mum remembered me chatting about us getting a king-sized bed at the beginning of the year and still using our double duvet on it. Mainly as it's an expensive Devon wool duvet which are the best. She kindly bought us a Devon wool duvet in king-size plus new bed sheets. Perfect presents, happy people. A relaxing day of leftovers that my mum sent home with us yesterday and movies.
