Rush of blood to the head

Surprised myself by choosing the Christmas parkrun over cooking  Christmas breakfast that became brunch and putting on the turkey that became an evening meal.
Two pictures today with me in- the first a family selfie taken with my phone at the Parkrun but I admit that because son R has a longer arm he pressed the shutter.  And the other in extras -  camera on the piano and delay shutter to get into position with  glass of bucks fizz ready to for the dinner that I was definitely ready for,  after the rush of blood to the head  5km run at 9 o'clock this morning.
