Rainy Christmas

Not so much a white Christmas but a rainy one this year. 

These old fire extinguishers have been cleverly upcycled into umbrella stands at the church we went to this morning and as you can see, were unfortunately in use today. 
They were upcycled by my brother-in-law. Youngest pointed them out to me because she remembers her uncle and her letting these off in his back garden in order to empty them. I think they got into trouble for ruining the grass but they had great fun in the process.

Anyway, we had a great day at hubby's sister's - she and her hubby provided a fab Christmas dinner for 20. Lots of laughs and food. 

The 'Chubb' on the fire extinguishers/umbrella stands probably describes many of us who have over eaten today....
