Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Men...

These Herdwick sheep could not have looked more miserable today. Their fields are waterlogged and a good many of them have diseased feet. They have no shelter from the wind and relentless rain. They will live or die on the say-so of the farmer. 

Ah, but God created animals for the use of Man. 

Oh, that makes it all ok then. Now I understand perfectly.
