Regents canel - Islington Angel

On a Saturday Morning I take Ryver to his Drama school. He has three hours of dance, acting and singing. I have three hours to either walk to St Paul's which is about a 20 min walk, and almost 2 miles. Or walk up to the Angel via the canal which is a 15 min walk and just over a mile. Today I went to the Angel. This is the part of the canal I swam (yes really) in as a kid. The part I learned to canoe in, the part I slept on, in a narrowboat of course! It has been taken over by a coffee shop boat, a bookshop boat and a hairdressing boat, and a loads of Boris Bikes!!! What happened to fishing for sticklebacks!
