Well deserved.

This year has been tough in many ways for A.  As relaxed as he has been about his study, he has worked incredibly hard at the subjects he is passionate about and today was rewarded for that.  On Friday he received his results and for the things he loves he had great results....except for the inevitable scaling of Technology and Design Wood which was very disappointing.  For English, which he never came to terms with, things were pretty dire.  However today he received awards at the school presentation day - two for having the highest scores in Systems Technology and Wood and two for being the highest achieving senior student overall in these subjects.  We were of course very proud of him.  As an additional note his friend E was dux of the school with an incredible score in the very high 90s.....very proud of her too and the fantastic speech she gave about making sure you do more than study and how the 4 numbers in your final result should not define you.  It was a great way for them to finish.
