Forsythia

In some parts of the village the forsythia is flowering already. It gives a nice bright splash of colour especially on dull days. Fortunately, the sun was out today after a very wet, albeit mild, Christmas day. The temperature has dropped back to nearer freezing and the hills have a very definite covering of snow.
I've now managed to catch up with all my blips after a very hectic, but enjoyable, few days. I hope you all had a good Christmas and were able to share it with family and friends.
