The best of the rest

We have been dodging the showers to cut back plants and dig over borders ready for the winter. These are the flowers that we have managed to save that haven't been damaged by the rain. The dahlia with the curled petals is still in full flower and its shape is just like a star - its the first year that we have grown it and it still delights me every day.
