Boxing Day magic

We went to Shotley Bridge today for lunch at Kate's house. You see her in the blip (sorry Kate). We are friends with Kate and her parents, Jenny and Dennis. We were all there today.

Kate made a delicious lunch and we enjoyed a catch up chat. We always discuss films and books too, so it's a real pleasure to be with them.

It was 4pm when we arrived home and the light had just gone. Wonderful to have a bit more light every day now.

Tonight we watched Christmas Uni  Challenge, then Little Women (a book I adored as a girl) and then The Miniaturist. Time for bed (said Zebedee!)
