Hot as hell

Are these peppers-I tried one.
This little plant belongs to my good friend J. Who was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma tumor right after her sixtieth birthday in September. Since then she sold her house, moved back in with her grown up kids, had brain surgery, and has been fighting-hard to get her life back afterwards, but it is very hard. She cannot control her right side, cannot read and phone communication is very difficult because of Aphasia.
So I am taking care of the little plant as if I were taking care of J. And when I discovered on Christmas Day that not only the peppers had doubled in size but also it had started blooming, I allowed my self to be carefully optimistic that the chemo is giving her some relief.
