A quick dash to the garden centre today to snaffle a few 'dollar colour' pots to spruce up the patch for the community garden walk tomorrow. Some mad potting out and then it has rained all afternoon so even better.
As well as the cheap and cheerfuls are ranks of herbs, lettuce varieties, passionfruit, tomatoes, chillies, eggplants, zucchini, cucumbers, sweetcorn and melons...and more.
There is nothing like a stroll amongst pots and punnets of healthy plants to inspire hours pottering ( and potting) in the garden.
