1159. Opal Glass Heart

I’m posting this especially for my lovely sister who wanted to see the gift I got from my hubby.....here it is!

It measures around 1/2 an inch and it’s made of glass with a gold stopper on the top and it’s filled with opal chips....it has some age but as it’s not hallmarked I don’t know how old but probably Edwardian I think....

It’s so beautiful and I’m thrilled with it....but as I’m paranoid about losing jewellery when I’m wearing it I’m going to get the top ring soldered properly as the link is not already soldered so it’s going back to the jewellers this morning to get that done....better safe than sorry!
