Bye bye pool

Oh the luxury ! I took this photo through the window just outside my hotel room. One flight of stairs instead of a five mile drive and I can enjoy a good swim. (OK it’s indoors but it isn’t overheated or steamy - just wonderful.)

Outside it’s snowing but it’s sloppy. The traffic reports aren’t ideal but Furbie is safely in her hotel and I’m not due to collect her today. We’ll just see what the M40 is like.....

It’s been a lovely Christmas with friends. Thank you to my family and other friends for the presents, texts, emails and good wishes.

And it’s nearly 2018 ! Wherever did the year go ?........
