Jay

We seem to have had an influx of Jays locally. Allowing for duplcate counts - I think we had maybe 10 - 15 at the local hide today. Normally I count it a good day if I see one. They were all doing the same thing, fetching acorns from the wood and then flying back across the lake with them. Where they are storing them is anyones's guess.

Edit: Having just searched the forums and news sites for birds (you'd be surprised) it does appear that there are more Jays about than normal.
