Carving The Bird With Pride
A wonderful Christmas Day spent at our daughter's. Here's my son-in-law carving the 'bird' with justifiable pride. It's on a platter from the dinner service my mother-in-law was given as a wedding present in 1926 and lit by an indoor firework held by my granddaughter. The food was perfect, absolutely delicious, my mother-in-law would have been proud, as were we of our lovely family.
The poem for Christmas Day is From A Christmas Carol by Christina Rossetti. https://genius.com/Christina-rossetti-a-christmas-carol-annotated
Perfect choice. This is a backblip. I'm typing it on 27th and, "Snow has fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow."
