Boxing Day

It was beautifully sunny for much of the day.  However this (and, presumably, the first day of the Sales) attracted a lot of people out on to the roads so our journey up to the Midlands to see family was a little slower than we might have hoped.

However, it was a good day.  The return journey involved less traffic, but by this time the heavy rain had arrived so driving was still not pleasant.

Home safely now, enjoying food and a glass of wine in front of the TV.
