Boxing Day

Spent with Sue and Prue.

We had a great lunch with a starter of Brie and cranberry in filo. Duck in hoisin sauce for main and this was what was left of our boozy raspberry pud. A dark chocolate sponge with puréed and whole raspberries in a raspberry liqueur topped with cream and a smidgen of grated chocolate. Lovely and tart after such a rich meal.

Lots of chat and lots of laughs to help let it all settle. The Springfield Sauvignon Blanc was a great accompaniment.

I think I need a time out now from all these excesses.
