Bonsmara

A small herd of the Bonsmara cattle were moved along the main road below the house today to a new field. Grass is getting scarce due to lack of good rains!  I took the dogs for a walk to see the cattle in their new field and we also saw the big daddy in a separate field. The calves are so cute and very inquisitive.
Later in the afternoon I spent an hour or more in the newly built, not quite finished bird hide near the pond in the farm game park. A few of the birds I was able to capture are in extras. There is far to much plant life in the pond to enable good shots - but I will continue trying!
