Flood(ish)

It was a wet Wednesday.  Although it didn't actually rain we had snow overnight and this slowly thawed during the day leaving slush and surface water on the pavements.  

Ann went in for a couple of hours volunteering at the Blue Cross and I met her out at one.  We went for coffee at the usual then took a stroll down by the RSC and the river.  The river was running quite high and there was a little flooding where the banks had been breached as here at the bandstand.  The swans can't work out where the river ends and the ground begins.

The extra is Waterside from the second floor window of the theatre.  I felt a little posterisation  gives the scene a wintery look.
