Muddy walk...

This morning the idea popped up to do a guided walk with "Stichting Het Groninger Landschap" a foundation that preserves the culture, landscape and more of our province.
The walk was about the total flooding of our province in the year 1717. The dikes were not maintained so well in those years and were too low when a storm rushed over the country. Over 2000 people died....
The walk was meant to show part of the old dikes and to tell some about the history. It was rainig and it was muddy....
