Frosted pine cone

This was in a festive bunch of flowers bought for us by our live in carer who left today. I was in tears at hearing the things she said to mum when she was about to leave. We hugged and have vowed to keep in touch which I surely will. She has been just wonderful and left the house better than it was when she arrived.
She even cleaned the oven before leaving, did a load of washing and hung it up. Everything was tidy and clean. I don't know how she did so much so well and now she's off to Wales to care for someone else for a while.
I took photos of her with mum and she's asked me to send them to her which I will.
She wished me well and had a feeling all would be well for me. That meant a great deal. Today when I woke up I actually did feel a lot better. Far less pain and without painkillers and I managed to get out for a short walk to stretch my legs a bit before the carer left.
