A change in the weather

The forecast snow was upon us and the skis ready. We spent a couple of hours on the easier slopes getting to grip with our new ski mountaineering equipment. After years of Langlauf skiing it all feels crazy cumbersome and heavy, but it certainly works. These new fangled waisted skis that everyone is using makes downhill skiing so easy. Although in my case, it might not be very pretty!
