Quiet corner at the General
It was my pre op assessment day at Leicester General today.
Hardly had we got on to the M1 when we saw it had snowed. None in Shepshed but around 10 cms in Markfield. None as we drove into Leicester city centre but fairly deep again as we drove East on the A47.
The clinic wasn't crowded. Len and I were still there for almost four hours. Slightly unnerving to realise that in two weeks time I should have a new knee joint.
Photo of Christmas decorations outside the Outpatient departments.
Basil went to Joy for the day, which he much enjoyed even with having to make friends with Penny, her new miniature dachshund.
Joy invited us to stay for dinner on our return which was terrific.
