A Late Christmas Gathering

So.....guess what? Granddaughter moved back home with her Mom and Dad while we were in Hawaii. Here is a photo of them together; it is amazing how a baby can pull people back together. We wanted to tell her she HAD to go live with Mom and Dad while we were gone, but knew the reaction would be bad......it was nice that we told her to stay at our house and she decided on her own to try living with them for a day.....and she simply stayed. We are delighted that she seems to be settled in with them. Our granddaughter actually organized the family gathering at her parent's house AND she prepared the whole dinner. She was beaming when we all arrived.....and even more when we raved about the food. She made turkey, red potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, asparagus, rolls and ham. It was truly delicious; she had gotten recipes on line and the baby was an angel so she could prepare everything. Her mom and dad both worked and got home about the same time we all arrived. 

It is a miracle......such a change......so mature.....and all the family enjoyed this FIRST time we have gathered at our oldest son's house.   :-))
