Lapsed vegan

Thankfully, there were enough random leftover ingredients in the fridge today to try a first recipe from my new Rick Stein in Mexico book. Spicy chorizo eggs with flour tortillas. They were spicy and they were delicious. Will try something a bit more adventurous when the fridge has been replenished.

This year's little pausing period between Christmas and New Year is being shamelessly filled with pottering around the house, eating cheese and biscuits, watching movies and drinking gin. This is me basically practising for retirement.
