Boxing day table

It's quite amazing how many people you can fit in a fairly small living room....  we moved furniture, added an extra trestle table, and by going diagonally corner to corner we did manage to seat 16 people for lunch.  
We didn't manage to seat everyone though - my sister and her partner ended up on the sofa as we couldn't stretch the table to fit 18.  
My parents have the most elastic house ever -there's always room for everyone somewhere (floor of the office, move bedrooms around to fit an extra airbed in, the annexe and the caravan are all frequently used).
