Many, many thanks for all your messages, stars and hearts for my 4 year blip yesterday. It made it to page 1 of the popular list, not something that happens often for me.

Back to reality today, some housework and some soup making using the bargain cauliflower and parsnips we picked up at the supermarket yesterday. There were crates and crates of stuff reduced to a just a few pence.

On the way into Tadcaster yesterday I noticed how the John Smith’s brewery was shining brilliantly in the setting sun. The weather was similar today so I popped back around the same time get a shot. It was a bit contrasty, so I have had to do an HDR…three shots merged. It was lucky that the moon appeared in the gap between the building and the chimney.
