São Vicente

A thundershower early in the morning, it lasted almost to noon, no bike rides today, just a stroll in the middle of the afternoon.
São Vicente was the first village founded in Brazil, by Portuguese sailor Martim Afonso de Souza in 1532, January, 22nd. This monument is a tribute to this happening. In the background you see the São Vicente Bay and to the left, the Porchat Island.
