Cold and wet,#SSsnow

A very cold, foggy, rainy day - a dreich day indeed!  We made a quick trip to town and G stopped in at the golf course.  I took this shot of a little storage shed through the windshield while I waited for him.  On the positive side, the rain will get rid of some of the snow.  The temperature's hovering around 4 degrees, so we're not getting freezing rain like some parts of the lower mainland.  Lots of extreme weather warnings and cautions about driving all over the province, and I think we lucked out this time.
We intended to stop for a walk down Burgoyne on our way home but we forgot to put in our rain gear and didn't want to get soaked.  It's the perfect afternoon for blipping or for sitting by the fire with a good book - and that's exactly what I'm going to do now.
