Mandarin ducks

Wow okay first off - it's been what? 10 months since I last posted. A lot has changed since then. I'm in college now, which is probably the biggest thing, especially seeing as I'd only just been at the interview the last time I posted!

College is amazing and everything I could have hoped it to be, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I did school

Willow was hit by a car - again - back in October, she was going to have to have surgery (thankfully our pet insurance made that a possible option!) however, it turned out that due to various things that happened the few weeks before she was due the surgery - her leg had actually started healing itself and it would be able to heal on its own! no surgery needed! Hooray!

Thirdly, these mandarin ducks are the fanciest ducks I ever did see - they aren't native to Scotland, yet here they are, somehow, swimming around Loch Lomond!

Lastly, I am now 18! An official adult, who can buy alcohol and everything! My birthday was really nice, and I spent it with my family. My best friend is on the other side of the country, in Edinburgh, so couldn't celebrate with her but we're meeting up later next week after Hogmanay!
