Moon - Waxing Gibbous!
I captured this Moon at 1 a.m. It isn't yet a full Moon - not until January 2, 2018, but who knows what the sky will be like that night! This morning it was extra bright. Some name it the Wolf Moon - according to the Old Famer's almanac 'This full Moon appeared when wolves howled in hunger outside the villages. It is also known as the Old Moon'. It is another Super Moon - I think there are only two in 2018 - so I do hope there will be clear skies here on the 2nd Jan. Here's a piece of trivia which might interest you - according the the OFA 'The word Gibbous first appeared in the 14th century and has it’s roots in the Latin word “gibbosus” meaning humpbacked'. Ah well, off to bed now! Have a good Friday:-)
